Oxford Pony club has the following positions available for volunteers to fill:

Health and Safety Officer

The person responsible for H&S will ensure all documentation is kept up to date. We have an excellent H&S compendium which was set up by a previous H&S officer so keeping the file up to date will not be a difficult job. Health and Safety is the responsibility of all club members so one of the features of this position is ensuring all club members are aware of H&S rules and are following them appropriately.

Fundraising Officer

Oxford Pony Club is a not for profit organisation so we rely on fundraising to keep going. The main function of this position is to identify fundraising opportunities and advise the committee. Often these are in the form of grants which the club then applies for. Also, there are times where the club may elect to hold fundraining activities such as sussage sizzles etc. There are usually well received and managed/staffed by riders of the club.

Grounds Keeper

Oxford Pony Club resides at dedicated grounds at Carleton Park, Bennetts. The function of this position is to ensure that the grounds are kept maintained and tidy. This involves such things as arranging for mowing and spraying by our contractor and ensuring the buildings are maintained as required.
